Project Hope volunteer, Kimmi Levin, was recently honored at one of abc7’s “Cool Kids,” for her support of the Strings Music Program funded by the Project Hope Alliance. A high school senior at Tesoro High School, Kimmi has been volunteering this school year helping the music teacher with violin and cello lessons. In addition, Kimmi has raised nearly $5,000 for the music program through the Project Hope Music Club she started at her school. This contribution made it possible to purchase two additional cellos, as well as repair several damaged violins. To watch the “Cool Kid” segment featuring Kimmi and her work at the school, go to abc7’s website.
