A Hope-Filled Mother's Day Brunch

Here at Project Hope Alliance, we love Mom. Every day we work to honor the support, education, and promotion of her—for herself, for her family, for her community, and for the kids.

On Saturday, May 13, we celebrated the amazing mothers we serve in a brunch at our headquarters. Catered by Bubbly Volunteers, a lovely group of women who travel throughout communities offering their services and time, our event was filled with good food, good company, and good conversation.

During brunch we unmasked motherhood through a Ted Talk, played a fun icebreaker game, and shared personal stories of motherhood.

With full bellies, our moms met our wonderful neighbor Ty, the owner of Ty's Wood Sign Workshop, who generously provided the craft portion of our event. Step by step, Ty guided our mothers through the process of creating their own sign.

Each mom enjoyed making something for her home. One mom even said it was therapeutical for her.

To cap off the inspiring day, each mother took home a beautiful candle gifted by Bubbly Volunteers.

Our mothers graciously welcomed their "me time," along with the opportunity to engage with other moms and women. Saturday served as a shining example of the power of connection and hope.
