1) Project Hope Alliance: When and how did you first hear about Project Hope Alliance?
Kitchen Table Marketing + PR: We were first introduced to Project Hope Alliance through our good friend and Project Hope Alliance CEO Jennifer Friend. Jennifer is a perfect example of the impact education can have in a child's life, so when she left her successful legal career to helm the organization, we knew big things were in store.
2) Why did you choose to get involved and take action?
Once you hear the Project Hope story, it's hard to not take action. Orange County is often known for its affluence, making it all too easy to forget the immense need in our own backyard. There are countless global issues all deserving of attention in their own right, but we think there is something special about serving your own community. By viewing homelessness as a cycle, Project Hope Alliance empowers families with solutions that go far beyond a short-term handout, and their success rate is a testament to the dedication and innovation of their team.
3) In what ways do you help fuel our mission?
KTM is privileged to help support Project Hope Alliance on the public relations front. Our goal is to take the life-changing work that happens at Project Hope Alliance every day and share it with media and our local community. Whether we're meeting Jennifer Friend at 5 a.m. for a morning news segment, coordinating a radio interview at Angel Stadium, or sharing the new Bright Start Program with the Orange County Register, we jump at any opportunity to spread the word about Project Hope Alliance and grow #TeamKid.
4) Who are you when you're not changing the lives of the kids and families we serve?
In addition to our work with Project Hope Alliance, KTM represents a wide variety of clients across the real estate, retail, hospitality, and lifestyle industries—many of which are locally based. Our team lives and breathes branding, marketing, and public relations, and we love bringing that expertise to Orange County's entrepreneurs and business leaders.
5) What gives you hope, and why?
#TeamKid gives us hope! Ending homelessness for 32,000 Orange County children is a daunting undertaking, yet our community has taken this challenge head-on and given generously of their time, resources, and energy to rewrite the futures of more than 700 children. That passion is contagious and inspires us to see that every problem also has a solution. With every success story and encouraging client testimony, we have the hope that childhood homelessness in Orange County will end, and Project Hope Alliance is the team to make it happen.
Thank you, Kitchen Table, for giving the gift of hope.
