On Thursday, February 25, Project Hope Alliance CEO Jennifer Friend headed to 100.3 The Sound studios in Los Angeles to voice our mission via the airwaves. She sat down with Tina "Mica" Mastramico, host of the station's public affairs show "5900 Wilshire," to discuss how Project Hope Alliance is ending the cycle of homelessness in Orange County, one child at a time.
The radio program serves as an outlet for people making a difference in California to share information with the public on the arts, health, education, charity events, and community building.
Highlights from the 13-minute conversation include our new Bright Start and Promotor Pathway education pilot programs, upcoming iheartoc campaign in April, Community Pantry, and Second Saturday volunteer events.
Mastramico is absolutely right, and you can read more about our fearless leader's past as an Orange County "motel kid" in her recent op-ed in the Daily Pilot.
In case you were sleeping on Sunday, February 28, between 7:30-8 a.m. when the segment aired (we don't blame you!), you can listen to it online for two weeks, or below.
