Our 3rd Annual Anti Gala on Sunday, April 17, invites our community to dance under the stars to end homelessness, and we are extremely excited to announce Christina Perri as our headlining performer. The folk pop singer/songwriter will set the beat for the charitable evening by gracing the stage in an exclusive live performance.
Set against the backdrop of Strawberry Farms' elegant Red Barn in Irvine, the Anti Gala marks our biggest and best fundraising celebration of the year.
Perri debuted her single "Jar of Hearts” on "So You Think You Can Dance" in 2010, and went on to sell more than 3 million copies in the U.S. alone, sign with Atlantic Records, write and record "A Thousand Years" for "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" soundtrack, and record two studio albums: "Lovestrong" (2011) and "Head or Heart" (2014).
The Philadelphia native pens and belts out gritty bluesy folk pop, strumming along on the guitar and pounding away on the piano.
She has been a tireless advocate for young people by remaining deeply involved with nonprofits like To Write Love On Her Arms and Project Hope Alliance. Perri also serves as a Voice Health Institute board member after undergoing vocal chord surgery in 2011.
She's grateful, truthful, and hopeful, and we absolutely adore her.
