Project Hope Alliance

Extending hope!

On August 16th Project Hope Alliance and Second Harvest collaborated to hold a special fundraiser for the Campus Revitalization Project at  Skyview Elementary (formerly known as Project HOPE School) where the students supported by Project Hope Alliance attend.   The event featured a walk through tour of our 214 Sq. Ft. motel installation, a presentation on how Project Hope Alliance is helping homeless and unstably housed children and their families reach self-sufficiency through education, support services and community advocacy and an exciting explanation by our partner, Bright Horizons, of how this extreme school makeover will provide the students we serve with an inspiring and exceptional educational environment.

The event was well attended and through generous corporate contributions from companies such as Lennova, Inc. which donated a $100,000 flooring system; Christidis General Contracting, Inc., which gave $30,000 in painting labor and materials; and Taco Bell, a corporate partner for the makeover campaign, which gave a $10,000 cash donation for a new kitchen, we are well on our way to providing an amazing academic environment for our deserving kids.

All in all, over $175,000 was raised for the renovation project thus far.  Should you desire to be a part of this terrific project, you can donate at www.projecthopealliance.org.  We are hoping to break ground soon and have a fully remolded campus by the beginning of 2013!
